Terms of Business

Please read carefully. By signing our order form, you are confirming that you accept our terms of business as set out below.

1. A deposit of 50% of the full purchase price is required at the time of order, to safeguard against any future price increases or dresses being discontinued.

2. We will advise you by telephone and/or letter once the goods have been received by us and any remaining balance must then be paid in full within 14 days.

3. All payments made are non-refundable and you remain liable for any balance due in the event of cancellation.

4. Dresses are not made to individual measurements. We will supply the nearest standard size to the measurements taken and all dresses are normally supplied to a standard length. Shorter or longer lengths may be available on certain gowns: this will incur a surcharge.

5. Any alterations required will be chargeable separately and all dresses must be paid for in full before being released for alterations to be undertaken.

6. We do not carry out alterations ourselves. We are happy to recommend a number of dressmakers but as these are all separate private businesses we cannot be held responsible for completion of the alterations to your satisfaction.

7. We can accept no responsibility for a dress no longer fitting due to any fluctuation in your size (due to weight gain/loss or any other cause) between time of order and date of fitting.

8. The delivered dress may not be identical in all respects to the shop sample, as slight variations in fabric colour, texture and trim are possible.

9. Please keep all receipts for payments made and produce these for checking on request.

10. Dresses will not be released without prior notification and authority from the person placing the order if someone else is to collect the dress(es).

11. Please telephone at least 24 hours prior to collection to confirm when you are coming, as we cannot otherwise guarantee that your dress(es) will be available when required.

12. These terms of business are not intended to affect, nor do they affect, your statutory rights.
